Perfect Garments for Gold Coast's sunny weather
We offer a large range of t-shirts for screen printing such as AS Colour, Gildan, Ramo, Next Level & American Apparel. Our favourite t shirt range is AS Colour's breathable organic cotton t-shirt range because they include excellent fabrics and fashion forward cuts. The other benefit of screen printing on AS Colour is their washability, the garments last a long time and hold their shape beautifully. Styles such as the Staple and Maple tee are available in 32 colours, meaning there is a colour to suit every occasion.

Screen Printing inks
There are a few different types of screen printing inks that we use at The Print Bar and they are all waterbased. We use a brand of ink called MagnaColours which are both eco-friendly and sustainable.
We offer a wide range of MagnaColour inks, all of which have excellent washability. There are soft hand inks, glow inks, neons, metallics and special effects such as crackle or puff. Our 2 most popular inks on the Gold Coast are;
Standard Waterbased: Our standard waterbased screen printing inks are vibrant and durable. We can precisely match Pantone colours and print very fine detail with excellent results. With dark garments the ink sits on top of the fabric so you will be able to feel it, but on white garments the ink goes into the fabric so it is much softer to touch. This ink is much softer than traditional plastisol / plastic ink that most other screen printers use.
Discharge Ink: This is a type of ink where we bleach the fabric and it gives you a vintage look with a very soft texture that feels the same as the cotton. The only downside is that because it gives you a vintage result you cannot get bright colour vibrancy or match Pantone colours exactly with this method.
Affordable Screen Printing
You will find that The Print Bar's screen printing pricing is sharper compared to most other printing shops and this is because we are a wholesale screen printer. We often print for resellers in the promotional products industry who onsell our printed garments to the end user.
Depending on the quantity of prints you are ordering, our pricing can be as low as $5 per unit including the garment. Which makes it so easy to get shirts printed quickly and affordably for your next event.
We also accept AMEX if you are collecting credit card points, or Mastercard, Visa & PayPal. We do not charge any surcharges for accepting credit cards.
Designing for Screen Printing
Our skilled printers come from a graphic design background. This means we can offer you great advice on getting the best results for your designs when it comes to choosing ink types or how to set up your designs. As a general rule, it is best to supply artwork from a graphic designer in eps, ai or pdf format. We can also work with halftone images/illustrations/photographic work if it is supplied in a high res png/jpg file at 600dpi. It is also important to know what ink colours you would like to use and you can check out our range of screen printing ink colours here.
We screen print for many great Gold Coast businesses and brands and would love to work with you. Get in touch with us or check out our Bulk Orders section to get a quote.
